For one thing, there's no video on his end, despite Kaede initiating the call as such. And the audio is choppy and weirdly distorted at times, like he's going through a patch of bad reception despite the fact that the bracers are not cell phones. There's also some fairly unsettling background noise: gunshots, crackling fire, and shrieking. But he's totally fine. Probably.]
