First Changes (October 1)
✯ Sharp fangs. Upper and lower canines are the only ones affected, giving him the appearance of a vampire. Apparently Mana's spell got one thing right. ➣ Dark claws. Fingernails and toenails are both long and sharp, and cannot be clipped or filed down. Any attempt to do so just results in them growing back within a matter of hours. Unlike when he was a solid-form shade, his nails are not SO pitch that they do not reflect light. They're now slightly glossy, as though they have a coat of permanent black nail polish. Unbeknownst to Shuichi, they will eventually become much more claw-like than this. ✯ Hunger for souls. As shades ALSO need to feed on souls, Shuichi's hunger was retained with the swap. Since he fed before doing so, however...he initially had no idea that his hunger had not, in fact, swapped to blood like he wanted. The means by which he extracts and consumes a soul has changed slightly. As a shade, he accomplished this by either a) reaching into a person's body and pulling the soul out with his hand, then bringing it up to the hole in his shadows where his heart should have been, or b) possessing them and pulling the soul out as he exited (and, again, bringing it to his heart-hole). As a demon, he has to use a dark magic spell which he will develop at a later date. Good thing he fed before swapping.
Second Changes (October 6)
✯ Red eyes. Or rather, partially red. On the whole, his irises have retained their natural golden color, but the Danganronpa aesthetic ring around his pupils is now bright red. His eyelashes have also grown longer and thicker. ✯ Immunity to fire. Exactly what it sounds like, though Shuichi has yet to discover that he has this particular immunity. Mostly because it's been five days since he last set himself on fire. ✯ Weakness to Holy Magic. Again, exactly what it sounds like. Like his fire immunity, this change initially went unnoticed by Shuichi, as he has yet to have holy magic used on him. (Though he did feel vaguely uncomfortable when walking by a display of crucifixes in a shop...and thought nothing of it because that's normal for vampires, right?) ➣ Skin coloration. After performing the quest and regaining his body, Shuichi was slightly paler than normal. That paleness has intensified since then, and his skin has become progressively more greyish in color with each passing day. Though at this point, it's still in the realm of a "normal" tinting. He just looks like he's either very sickly, hasn't seen the sun in years, or both. He's also developed unnaturally dark bags beneath his eyes.
Third Changes (October 8th-12th)
✯ Forked Tongue. The first sign that Shuichi was not actually a vampire, as requested. On the morning of the 8th, Shuichi felt a searing pain in his tongue before it abruptly split itself at the tip. At the same time, it also grew longer and thinner, and turned from pink to pale grey. The rest of the inside of his mouth also underwent a loss of color, becoming a shade of grey darker than both his skin and his tongue. ✯ Horns. Three, to be exact. Two curled ram's horns growing from the sides of his temples, and a small, curved one growing from his forehead. All three are black with a blue-purple sheen that's only visible in the light. ✯ Skin coloration. Shuichi's skin had turned greyer and greyer ever since he performed Mana's quest. After a week, however, what was initially a mere tinting had become something more opaque. By nightfall on the 8th, his skintone was basically exactly as it had been when he was a solid-form shade. The only difference being that his fingertips, toes, and the shells of his ears had begun to turn black. This darker coloration continued to creep up from his fingers and toes through the 12th, stopping at his thighs and upper arms. Where the grey and black meet, they form a sort of shadowy gradient pattern, reminiscent of his aura as a shade. ✯ Weakness to Salt. Exactly what it sounds like.

✯ Pointed Ears. After much painful stretching and breaking of cartilage, Shuichi's ears not only elongated but also became downturned. The ends are pointed and have the same pitch-black gradient coloration found on his arms and legs. His ears are not expressive and do not move...they're just basically reverse elf ears.
Fifth Changes (October 21st-23rd)
✯ Dark claws. At around noon on the 21st, Shuichi's ✯ Black Lips and Sclera.
Sixth Changes (October 31st)
✯ Wings. ✯ Tail. ➣ Dark Magic. ✯ Black blood.
Seventh Changes (November 10th)
✯ Hunger for Blood. Since changing into a vampire failed, but becoming a demon still fixed all of his issues with being a shade except the soul-sucking part, Shuichi opted to just change his feeding method through Mana this time. He has LOST his ability to rip out and consume souls, but honestly he's okay with that. His rate of hunger has remained the same (one human per month), though since it's blood rather than souls, he's able to spread that out over the course of the month to avoid killing his victims.
