I don't think that these multiversal kidnapping gods always look at that sort of thing

I think a lot of the time they just grab whoever they can

that said I don't think it's bad karma that landed you in this situation twice

you'd have to do something really terrible to deserve being separated from the home you just returned to and your baby the way you were

maybe it wasn't the worse option but it was definitely the crueler option
